Chad Webb Named Managing Partner at Addicus

Addicus Expands with Birmingham Office Launch

June 17, 2020 – Oxford, MS – Addicus, LLC, is pleased to announce that Chad Webb, CPA, has been named Managing Partner and is the newest Partner to join the firm. Mr. Webb brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, banking, risk management, regulatory operations, commercial real estate, and leadership. Additionally, Addicus has launched its fourth office location in Birmingham, Alabama,

which is led by Mr. Webb. The firm has additional locations in Oxford, MS, Tupelo, MS, and Newtown, CT. Mr. Webb joined Addicus in 2019 and focuses on providing capital and tax-efficient strategies, investment advisory, and business development solutions to its vast client and strategic advisors network. He brings demonstrated expertise in operational risk management, corporate risk governance, regulatory operations, enterprise and strategic risk management, market and liquidity risk management, and model risk management and model validation. “It is an honor to be a part of this firm, and I look forward to supporting the continued growth and success of Addicus and the families we serve,” stated Chad Webb.


Addicus was founded in 2012 by Stephen D. Miles and Andrew B. Adams. Alongside its family office and private client practices, Addicus offers investment advisory, risk management, consulting services, and tax credit equity services in addition to a boutique private equity structuring and placement practice.


“Chad has a remarkable background and the ability to navigate complex financial and operational matters with great ease. He is a true asset to have joining the executive leadership team,” stated Andrew Adams.


Prior to joining Addicus, Mr. Webb worked for Regions Bank as its Executive Vice President, Chief Enterprise Risk Management Officer from 2011 to 2019. During that time, he was responsible for the enterprise risk management process, coordinating risk management participation in the capital and strategic planning processes, evaluating new products and services, emerging risks, and overseeing board and committee reporting. Previously, Mr. Webb worked in KPMG LLP’s Financial Services practice as a Senior Manager for 12 years. There, he served a broad range of financial services organizations, with particular focus on large regional banking and financial institutions, real estate companies, and other large publicly traded organizations.


Mr. Webb is a published author and subject matter specialist. He has co-authored and sponsored various published materials on risk management, risk appetite development and implementation, and the challenges related to model validations in banking. Mr. Webb has also presented to numerous financial services organizations on topics including risk management, regulatory issues, enterprise and operational risk, and key risk indicators.


Mr. Webb earned both a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, with an emphasis in International Tax and Accounting. He attended the Advanced Executive Leadership Program at Georgia State University and is a graduate of Leadership Memphis. Mr. Webb completed the Lean Six Sigma Executive Black Belt Program at Regions Bank as well as the Principles of Agile Project Management for Banking and Risk Management.


Mr. Webb has received the Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in business award, and KPMG named him National Mentor of the Year. He is passionate about community service and donates his time to organizations like the Birmingham Education Foundation and United Way.

Mr. Webb resides in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife Kelly and their four children.
